Where RestroAI stands on ZATCA today
Not live yet: RestroAI has no direct integration with ZATCA and is not ZATCA-approved. Integration is on the roadmap. If ZATCA e-invoicing is a requirement for your restaurant, ask us for the timeline before you sign up at contact.
Vendors such as Foodics, Sapaad, PosBytz and ALZERP advertise ZATCA support for Saudi restaurants. Those are their own claims and we have not verified them. If you must be compliant on a given date, choose a vendor that can show it working and confirm with ZATCA.
ZATCA Phase 1 and Phase 2 at a high level
| Phase | What ZATCA calls it | In short |
|---|---|---|
| Phase 1 | Generation phase | Issue electronic invoices from a system that produces a standard format, including a QR code, and keeps them from being altered. |
| Phase 2 | Integration phase | Connect your system to ZATCA's platform so invoices are reported or cleared, rolled out to taxpayers in waves. |
Exact requirements, wave dates and penalties are set by ZATCA and have changed over time. Check the current position with ZATCA or your tax adviser. We do not state dates or amounts here. For more, read the ZATCA Phase 2 guide for restaurants.
