What the inventory module covers
Inventory is built for kitchens that buy from several suppliers and lose margin quietly: over-ordering, spoilage, and stock that walks out of the back door. These are the tools included today.
| Tool | What it does for you |
|---|---|
| Ingredient stock | Keeps a running quantity per ingredient, with a reorder point and reorder quantity on each item. |
| Recipes | Links menu items to the ingredients they use. |
| Purchase orders | Raise orders to suppliers and receive goods against them. |
| Three-way match | Compares the purchase order, the goods received and the supplier invoice. |
| Supplier returns | Record goods sent back to a supplier. |
| Stock counts | Count what is on the shelf and reconcile it to the system. |
| Transfers | Move stock between branches or locations. |
| Waste tracking | Record spoiled, dropped or over-prepared stock so the loss is visible. |
Why three-way match matters
The most common leak in supplier buying is paying an invoice for goods that were never fully delivered. Three-way match puts the purchase order, the delivery you actually received and the supplier invoice side by side, so a short delivery or a price change is seen before you pay. For an owner who does not stand at the back door every morning, that check is the point.
Low stock, without a spreadsheet
Each ingredient carries a reorder point. The system can list the items that have fallen to or below that level, so purchasing starts from a list instead of from memory. For how food cost and stock levels connect, read the restaurant food cost and inventory guide.
RestroAI lists items at or below their reorder point. We do not claim automatic recipe costing reports or push alerts here; ask for a demo if a specific report matters to you before you sign up.
Multiple branches and one price
Stock transfers let a chain move ingredients between branches, and each branch is priced at PKR 15,000 a month with inventory included. See multi-branch management for roles and the control panel. Competitors often put inventory in a higher plan: on the price comparison, WOS offers inventory only in its PKR 25,000 Golden plan, from the vendors' own pricing pages checked on 25 October 2026 and not independently verified.

Frequently asked questions
What is restaurant inventory management software?
It is software that tracks the ingredients a restaurant buys, holds, uses and wastes. RestroAI by Taiz includes ingredient stock, recipes, purchase orders with three-way match, supplier returns, stock counts, transfers and waste tracking in the branch price.
Is inventory included in the RestroAI price?
Yes. Inventory is part of the PKR 15,000 per branch per month price. It is not a separate add-on and there is no setup fee.
What is a three-way match in purchasing?
It compares three documents before you pay a supplier: the purchase order you raised, the goods you actually received, and the supplier's invoice. A mismatch, such as a short delivery or a changed price, shows up before payment.
Can I track waste and spoilage?
Yes. Waste tracking lets you record spoiled, dropped or over-prepared stock so the loss shows against your stock levels instead of disappearing.
Can I move stock between branches?
Yes. Stock transfers move ingredients between branches or locations, and each branch is billed at PKR 15,000 a month.
Does it work with the POS?
Yes. Inventory runs in the same platform as the POS, kitchen display and online ordering, so sales and stock are in one system rather than a separate spreadsheet.
Does RestroAI work in the Gulf as well as Pakistan?
Yes. It serves Pakistan, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain and Kuwait. The price is PKR 15,000 per branch per month; ask for a quote in your local currency.
