A dining room runs on the floor plan
In a dine-in restaurant the table is the unit of work. A booking holds a table at a time, a walk-in waits for one, and a bill belongs to whoever is seated there. RestroAI ties reservations, the waitlist, table management and POS billing together so that the host, the waiter and the cashier are looking at the same room.
- Reservations: public table booking with availability.
- Waitlist: a queue for walk-ins when no table is free.
- Table management: set up the tables and track them through service.
- Dine-in billing: the POS bills dine-in, takeaway and delivery with cash and card tenders.
More on the table reservations page.
The kitchen and the pass
Orders entered at the table are shown on the kitchen display, fed by the same orders as the POS. One screen per branch is included, and a separate screen for the pass or the bar is PKR 1,000 a month. Priced add-ons and choice groups handle steak doneness, sides and sauces.
Split bills, automatic service charge and course firing are not described as shipped features here, so we do not claim them. If your service depends on any of them, ask us how it would work before you sign up.
Staff roles and several venues
Fine dining is a team: owner, general manager, host, servers, kitchen. The branch price includes one user in each non-ordering role and five order takers, with extra users at PKR 500 a month. For a group with several restaurants, branch cloning and a control panel give a cross-branch overview. See multi-branch.
The same system can also take orders from your own website and WhatsApp for private-dining or takeaway menus. Direct integration with tax authorities is not live; sales records and Z reports can be given to your tax filer. See the PRA guide and the FBR guide.
Cost for a dine-in restaurant
A restaurant with 2 POS terminals, 2 kitchen screens and 3 extra non-ordering users costs PKR 15,000 + 2,000 + 1,000 + 1,500 = PKR 19,500 a month. No setup fee and no commission on orders.

Frequently asked questions
What is the best POS for a fine dining restaurant in Pakistan?
Look for reservations, a waitlist, table management and a kitchen display together. RestroAI by Taiz includes these at PKR 15,000 per branch per month. Some vendors have live FBR or PRA integration and deeper table-service features, which RestroAI does not yet.
Does RestroAI handle table reservations?
Yes. It offers public table booking with availability, a waitlist and table management.
Can it split a bill between guests?
Split bills are not described as a shipped feature, so do not rely on it. Ask us how your service would work before you sign up.
Does it support course firing or service charge?
Not as described features. Orders reach the kitchen display from the POS, but course firing and automatic service charge are not claimed. Ask us before you sign up if you need them.
Is there a kitchen display for dine-in orders?
Yes. A real-time kitchen display fed by the same orders as the POS is included, one screen per branch.
Does RestroAI by Taiz work offline in the dining room?
The POS keeps selling offline and syncs when the connection returns.
