What QR ordering means with RestroAI
Your ordering storefront is a normal web address, on a RestroAI subdomain or your own verified domain. Any QR code generator can turn that address into a printable code, and a customer who scans it lands on your menu and can order for takeaway or delivery and pay by card or choose cash on delivery.
Be clear about what this is. RestroAI does not currently describe table-specific dine-in QR ordering, where a guest scans a code tied to table 7 and the order goes to that table. The QR code opens your storefront; it does not identify a table. If table-number ordering is a requirement, ask us before you sign up.
Where a storefront QR code helps
- On a poster or window sticker, to turn passers-by into takeaway orders.
- On a delivery bag or flyer, so repeat customers order direct next time instead of through an aggregator.
- On a table card or menu board, so guests can order takeaway for later or send a friend the link.
- On social media bios and WhatsApp replies, as a link or an image.
Receipts printed by the POS can also carry a QR code. Today that space is reserved for an FBR invoice code; read the FBR guide for the status.
From scan to kitchen
- The customer scans the QR code and the storefront opens in their browser.
- They pick items, choose takeaway or delivery and pay by card or cash on delivery.
- The order appears in your POS order list and on the kitchen display.
- For delivery, a rider is assigned manually or automatically and updates status from a web panel.

Frequently asked questions
What is the best QR menu ordering system for a Pakistan restaurant?
It depends on whether you need takeaway and delivery ordering or order-to-table. RestroAI by Taiz gives you a branded ordering storefront that a printed QR code can open on any phone, with orders going straight to your POS and kitchen display, for PKR 15,000 per branch per month. Table-number dine-in ordering is not described as live.
Does RestroAI support ordering to a specific table by QR code?
Not as a described, live feature. The QR code opens your storefront for takeaway and delivery; it does not tie the order to a table number. Ask us before signing up if you need that.
Do customers need to download an app to order?
No. The storefront opens in the phone browser. An Android customer app is also included in the price; an iOS app is not available yet.
Can I generate the QR code myself?
Yes. Your storefront is a normal web address, so any QR code generator can create a printable code for it.
Is there a commission on orders placed through the QR code?
No. RestroAI charges no commission on orders; you pay the monthly branch price.
Can guests book a table?
Yes. Reservations include public table booking with availability and a waitlist, plus table management.
